struggling with the futility of it all. trying to cut myself some [emotional] slack because i’m coming out of a mania and there’s always a drop after the high. the despair still feels very real, though.
Codes for Personal Appearance [v.1]
1 - At least three colors worn at all times.
- This does not include undergarments.
- This does not include accessories other than belt and shoes.
- Gold, silver, black, white, brown and grey - in any shade- are not colors. Navy is still pending decision.
- Hair color is pending decision. Naturally existing colors, and variations thereof, do not apply towards color count.
- Not all colors have to match. Don’t be afraid to look silly.
2 - Cut is everything. If it doesn’t fit, change something.
3 - Wear things you like & make you feel good. Give away the rest.
4 - At least one garment must have functional pockets.
5 - Cigarette holder: clean and in working use.
6 - Undergarments always match. Discard stained/torn/otherwise ruined pieces. Update regularly.
7 - Hair is worn short. Even if you grow it out it will not be wavy and beautiful like others.
8 - Fingernails to only be painted in OPI’s Vodka and Caviar. Repaint once a week. Toenails can wear red, black and gold. Other colors will be considered.
9 - Socks never match except in fit and length. Life is too short to match your goddamn socks.
